About Me

Ita Dowler, LCSW, PsyD – integrative psychotherapist in Riverdale, Bronx, New York.

Licensed Under Social Worker

License: NY State R-045263-1

With more than 35 years of psychotherapy experience, my work is rooted in strong clinical training and continuously shaped by ongoing education, personal growth, and a deep respect for the mind–body connection. Over the years, I’ve learned that healing isn't one-dimensional—it’s emotional, physical, and often spiritual. That understanding guides the way I support every person.

I remain committed to learning and evolving as a practitioner. I regularly attend advanced seminars, stay up-to-date on emerging research, and integrate evidence-based mind-body techniques into my work. These practices aren’t just tools I offer to people—they’re also part of my own daily life and wellbeing.

My goal is to create a warm, grounded therapeutic space where you feel seen, supported, and empowered to explore your inner world at a pace that feels right for you.
